I know valentine's already over but let me share with you my valentine's K?
okay...i didnt have a good start in the mornin9 cos i wasnt prepared...
you see...i bought these 25 bottles of baby fruit juices (apple/apple prune/pear) for my whole class...they were actin9 like kids nowadays lar...and i actually planned 2 write sth on it lar...only i din have e time!!
it was such a pity lar...cos the idea was CUTE n unique but bcos it was 'unlabelled' no one knew whom it was from at 1st...haiz...sian lor...but still, most of them drank it...or i think they did...=)
oh...and i ate so much chocolateS today lar...i think it's my highest record of choc ever eaten in a day...u noe y? cos valentine's is like a choc day lar...though it's actually on 12th feb...evryone givin choc lo...i mean EVERYONE!
an evaluation on chocs here: hershey is melt-in-the-mouth...swt n d almond one was nice...;
snickers is very swt n chewy compared 2 d rest...n jus d way i like it...;
ferrero is okay...i think im gettin sick of ferrero le;
hk's home-made choc/brownie? is BitteR...i don like d bitterness...n it looks lyk dung whn melted...Honestly...ask bong or wenhao...;
sheryl low's biscuit w/choc is slightly bitter too but d biscuit's nice...buy fr taka one...not taka jewelry u cant eat anything there...n it has nice packagin...
guess tt's abt all d kinds of choc i eat alreadi ba...i noe i ate mostly hershey kisses lar =PpP

fri we had our CCA open hse...of cos we had 2 perform...we're d choir mah...
niwae...we sounded gd only in the foyer...d outdoor stage n concourse performance sux
we sang "the lions slp tonight" n e college athem in e foyer
and "longest time" n "gd old acapella" in d concourse...
oh...the songs were nice alright...jus tt e mics cldnt pick up our voices properly...not that i'm blaming e AV crew or anything...a pity...
haiz...think e college athem sounded gd in 4 parts...always did...hahax...but jus dono whn will they let us record it as d official college athem tt will be played on mon mornin...cos that original one sux big time !
btw...b4 our performance in concourse...(we were hangin ard waitin 4 our turn which was delayed)...i helped MC record d performances...cos poor Norman had his hand bandaged again...! from 4 hrs of continuous recordin n holdin d cam in d same position...poor thing lar...it was very fun i must admit...if only i cld bcum part-time MCer...thn can help take pics n record video whn there's an event...i wldnt mind...not at all...=D
on the overall...i guess d best part of the whole thing was still d start of the whole thing...at 2pm...cos we had such a crowd n everyone enjoyed our performance...or so i think they did...yesh! choir did ourselves proud then !! *thumbs up*
on to the nxt thing...our 1st practice of d new song wif nus CO...we went to NUS's CFA (centre for the arts)...n practised with some people fr wild empire (ms ong's external grp) they were good lor...all d experts...n to think that we jus learned this song...like d day b4...we were able 2 grasp hold of it quite fast...maybe not d mezzos altos n tenors though...cos their parts r lots more diff...hey but ours was high lor...haha!
thn ard 5pm...(we started at 2)...we went 2 combine wif d CO...small auditorium they've gt there...but nvm...we cld still squeeze in...tot d conductor was rather cheena though very friendly n helpful...we joined in singin jus aft listenin 2 them for abt 2 times...thn aft a while...(it was quite ez 2 get d tune)...ms ong asked me 2 help d altos...a Challenge!...i haven learnt their parts...fun though...cos everytime gotta prick my ears n try 2 catch the notes fr d orchestra...i blasted lor...partly due to d few pro sopranos coverin everyone's voices...so to let mezzos catch their notes...gotta blast behind them...haha...
everything ended rather early...not even 6 yet...n d conductor praised us 4 a well done first time! they even provided us wif refreshments aft practice lor...so cool! well...i'm looking forward 2 nxt wk...n d nxt too...! anyone who wanna go for the concert letme noe k?
